OUR NEW PATTERSON FLYNN RUG COLLECTION

Alfredo Paredes’ collection leans into his Cuban heritage and Miami roots, creating pieces that feel deeply personal. Handmade from beginning to end and endlessly customizable, the rugs prioritize authentic materials with soul and depth, showcasing Paredes’ instinctive feel for the interplay of textures and tones.

Each pattern has a distinctive artistic dimension inspired by everything from vintage book covers to classic menswear, and each colorway is given special consideration—the construction, finish, and dying techniques are all changed up to best enhance the palette. The rugs are handsome and glamorous yet grounded in an earthy realness, with the feel of cherished pieces carefully curated by someone with a distinct point of view.

NAGOYA IN BLOOM

With a design that references artfully mended and patched Boro textiles, Nagoya in Bloom’s softly collaged ground is overlaid with delicate blossoms—a surprising combination and a nod to the florals used in Japanese Deco rugs. This fine hand-knotted wool rug gets its sophisticated mélange effect from hand-spun and -dyed yarns.

Available in: Indigo, Verdant, and Rose Gold

Nagoya

With a design that nods at artfully mended and patched Japanese Boro textiles, Nagoya gives off the impression of a softly collaged watercolor. This fine hand-dyed wool flatweave has an innovative weaving structure that gives the feeling of movement, which is heightened by an abrash dying technique.

Available in: Patina, Sand/Blush

La Zebra

La Zebra takes the animal print in a more abstract direction. The super enlarged pattern is timeless and elevated, and the mixed weave construction heightens the visual interest with a wool flatweave ground against chunky cut pile stripes done in undyed wool.

Available in: Natural Grey, Navy, Black & White

Gaucho

There are stripes, and then there are Gaucho’s stripes. Elevated and unique with a Bauhaus bent, these stripes have an unusual rhythm that plays with color blocking. This wool flatweave is made with a thick-and-thin handspun yarn with an abrash effect that adds depth and textural interest to the design.

Available in: Sepia Multi, Oxblood Multi, Blue Multi

Medanos

Medanos reflects the designer’s efforts to elevate the stripe. He’s created a uniquely rhythmic thick-and-thin pattern that combines wool flatweave with sections of chunky mohair boucle for a study in handsome contrasts.

Available in: Russet Multi, Brindle

Sol

Filled with the painterly quality of irregular shapes and punctuated by an unexpected accent color that brings a bit of earthiness to an otherwise glam sensibility, Sol has the energy and feeling of the vintage book cover that inspired it. Every part of this Tibetan hand-knot is meticulously crafted, with a wool ground that contrasts with the sharp, clean lines of the bright blue wool-and-silk motif. The brown accent, meanwhile, is made of undyed wool.

Available in: Cobalt, Ochre, Natural

La Amapola

Decadent in both scale and materials, La Amapola is a bold botanical enlarged to give the impression of a singular piece of art. This hand-knotted rug is entirely made by hand with undyed wool and goat hair recycled from nomadic tents, which imparts a deep and richly layered feeling.

Available in: Red/SKy, Bronze, Black & White

Alphabet Soup

Shot through with glamour, Alphabet Soup features a tumble of typefaces inspired by a vintage notebook. This meticulously crafted Tibetan hand-knot features a wool ground with a mix of wool and silk letters that creates an intriguing matte and shine interplay as you move across the rug.

Available in: Black & White, Vintage Red, True Blue
